Comfortline Lift Seating is privately owned by Peter Furlong who has 49 years’ experience as a chair and couch maker beginning with an apprenticeship in 1975 with Australia’s leading manufacturer in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s Moran of Melbourne.

In 1985 Peter Furlong opened a furniture repair business called Solo Mobile Furniture Restoration where he restored furniture for the five star hotels a floor at a time at the top end of Melbourne known as the Paris end.

Over the last 39 years we have approximately serviced 6,000 private customers, five star hotels and commercial businesses around Melbourne. During this time Peter took note of the quality and design of the best manufactured lounge suites from all over the world that he has restored. Combined with Moran of Melbourne training Peter has created his own high quality seating for low care in hospital, homecare and Aged Care with a bariatric lift seating systems that holds up to 300kg in weight with a 12 year structural warranty to suit the home and healthcare industry.

The lift seat chair is designed to help the user to become more independent while living at home in an extremely comfortable bariatric chair.
